Asima grew up and got married in the Shingal Mountains. Her husband left her to raise four children on her own. She moved to a camp for internally displaced persons in hopes that she could keep her children in school. She joined Prosperity Catalyst because, unlike other organizations, it offered her the opportunity to have a career and long-term stable income. Now it means more than just an income. It offers her a place to learn, meet new people, and make new friends.
"Work is fun if it is with the right people" - Asima
